A Message From Mr. Jeff Samaniego

Dear Families,

As we prepare to come back to school this year, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support in your child’s education. We are able to nurture and challenge your child to reach his/her academic and social potential because of your continued partnership with our district.

As your Superintendent, I created District Goals that I am confident we, as partners in education, will achieve within the next 2 years.

In order for your child to be successful, I believe our partnership will be the key to achieving our district goals.

Communication is an important part of a child’s education.  Our administration, teachers, and staff will work diligently to keep you updated throughout the school year with notifications about your child’s schoolwork, academic progress, achievements, and special events.

The link between school attendance and student achievement is a district goal, and I am dedicated to increasing awareness in the school community about the importance of this goal. In order for children to progress academically and socially, they need to be in school on a consistent basis.  As an educator and Superintendent, I feel very strongly about this goal, and will be asking my entire staff to help positively reinforce student attendance.  I will be facilitating several attendance initiatives this school year, starting with Attendance Awareness Month in September.
